Quan Bui is currently completing a master of global affairs at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto. He previously completed a law degree from King’s College London in the United Kingdom.
Quan most recently worked in the Chief Corporate Office of the City of Toronto, where he helped to create a wide range of strategies and policies to improve the city’s operation and services to the public. Before coming to Canada, Quan gained experience working in the legal and public policy sectors in Vietnam. As a legal professional, he worked at HSBC Bank and the business law firm YKVN. Quan was also previously a policy analyst at the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, focusing on the pharmaceutical industry.
Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Quan lived overseas from a young age in New Zealand and England before moving to Toronto.
