Kevin Black has a bachelor of engineering science in chemical engineering from Western University and an honours bachelor of arts in business administration from Western’s Ivey School of Business. He is registered with Professional Engineers Ontario as an engineering intern and is working toward his professional engineer license. Kevin is also a member of the Ontario College of Trades as an Apprentice Electrical Control Machine Builder.
Kevin is a control systems programmer for Innovative Automation, where he programs robotic and SCADA systems for advanced manufacturing applications. He has hands-on experience designing, building and programming automation equipment, as well as extensive project management experience. Recent projects include developing control software for an irradiation sterilization conveyor line and programming a robotic metal inert gas welding cell for a leading automotive parts manufacturer.
Kevin was born and raised in Barrie, Ontario.
