Kenneth Wiafe has ambitious plans to change the ways that people experience everyday life by utilizing design and sound. Kenneth has a bachelor of industrial design from Carleton University. Upon completing his studies in 2014, he received the Association of Chartered Industrial Designers of Ontario’s Innovative Design Award at Rocket, a grad show that showcases Ontario’s top graduating industrial designers. His project was headphones designed to enhance a DJ’s workflow through visual and sonic interaction with the use of Heads-Up-Display technology. It was recognized as a beautifully designed and articulated product.
Kenneth’s professional experience has given him the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, whether focused on themes of accessibility, new and emerging materials or cutting-edge technology. His approach to and training in design allow him to decipher information and find design opportunities that lead to innovative solutions.
Kenneth is a Toronto native.
