Bethany Zack has an honours bachelor of science in life sciences and a master of public health in occupational and environmental health, both from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in the prevention of occupational disease through educational interventions.
In 2015, Bethany was a fellow at the Institute for Work and Health through the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund. She is the recipient of a Centre for Research Expertise in Occupational Disease Graduate Student Award and a Public Health Sciences Student Merit Award.
Bethany is currently a research coordinator in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health at St. Michael’s Hospital. She has worked in clinical research for over three years and has held three teaching assistantships in human biology. Bethany has contributed to quality improvement and clinical research projects in the Emergency Department and the Laboratory Medicine Department at The Hospital for Sick Children and has completed mixed methods research at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Bethany was born and raised in Toronto, where she currently lives and works.
